I know that I have cheated you all recently with my small leave of absence but I have my reasons....like always. Anyways I am just going to update you right now with my new music selections to let you know the mood I have been in recently and there will be more fun stuff to follow. Just a reminder Chinese New Year is coming up and as far as I know it is the last time this year to start new and get your ass in gear. Year of the Tiger .......here I come!!!

I am not sure how often I am going to do so... but my intentions are to pick my current top three albums and then one song that is extra awesome on that and share my top picks with you!!! It is no Rolling Stone, but it is what gets me through the day.
I suggest that you pick at least one and listen to it.....I mean you are already on the Internet....what is another 3 minutes.

Starting Fresh

I started off my new year in a fresh pair of kicks. Which was a great decision. They landed me in front of a fabulous umbrella on the ground, conveniently, when it was raining out, into a puddle without any damage, out to see some fireworks, to a great hotel party, and home with the ability to take them off.....all in the same night! The 1st may have been even better. I got to see the Mummers!!! Which were a total hoot! I recommend that if you have never gone to the parade, you should try next year.

.....and eat it too !

Happy Freakin New Year ! IT IS 2010 BABY!!! Brush that dirty of your shoulder, get so fresh and so clean clean, because now is your chance to shape up or ship out! I think that it is great that the calender has given us this chance to press restart. To show my thanks I have composed a great a great to-do list. On that list next to all the corny things like save money and have craft nights there is "have my (cup)cake and eat it too" ! I vow to do this because there has been a great deal of effort and magic mixed into the cakes that have been made for me. These are in no particular order, they were all scrumptious, and were all made by my wonderful friends who truly adore me.

Super Blues

Well..... I hate to say it but it happened. There I am in black and blue, which is not the issue. However, the combination of my attire and that of the kids flanking both of my sides (and the butt cheek of one because our stairs are not sock approved) is what scares me. ALL BLACK AND BLUE !!! My pap always told me that his favorite color was black and blue which was always funny to me. But this little mishaps of colors as shown above should not happen this often in my house.

CALLING ALL BOYS

Actually I prefer men, but either way. I am on the look out for the finely dressed men that know that it is their job too to look good. REMINDER: you don't need your Sunday's best on to look fresh, sometimes all you need is a new white tee and sometimes you just need something made by me, such as the hoodie on the fellow below.

Promlem Solving 101

The following pictures are results from a class that I took during my junior year. It was a class titled Problem Solving. I first remember hearing the name of this class and thinking ohhhh greatttttt another math class!!! Little did I know (stupid freshman) that this class would become one of my favorite for many reasons. One of the greatest facets to this class was my professor, who I am sure is totally in his glory with the return of the day glo colors, not that it ever faded in his mind. This man is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. He has the best stories to tell and is not afraid to tell them. He also plays the greatest games with magazine spreads and really I could just ramble on and on about him....but I won't. Anyways, the gist of the class was you had to design a garment with supply limitations. Usually any type of fabric was excluded from the list from allowed materials and there was always a price restriction. Everything was made for under ten bucks, and I honestly followed all the guidelines.
